1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using VectorizeThis, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use the service with authorization from a parent, guardian or organization.
2. The service
VectorizeThis analyzes raster images and produces SVG output in your browser. Features, presets, limits and availability may change. We may suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, address abuse or perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanent operation.
3. Your files and permitted use
You retain rights you have in images you provide and SVGs produced from them. You are responsible for having permission to use, convert, download and distribute every file you provide. Normal conversion is local to your browser and does not grant VectorizeThis rights to your artwork.
If you voluntarily attach an image to feedback or support, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, inspect, reproduce internally and share it with service providers only as needed to investigate the issue, respond to you, protect the service and improve the converter. This license ends when the material is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes, subject to backups and legal records.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law or third-party rights; process material you are not authorized to use; distribute malware; evade limits or security controls; disrupt the service; probe it without permission; automate abusive traffic; or misrepresent VectorizeThis output as certified, guaranteed or approved by us for a particular machine, material or professional purpose.
5. Fabrication and software compatibility
SVG interpretation varies across Cricut software, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, CNC tools, CAD programs, browsers and editors. Presets, warnings and geometry checks are assistance only. They are not certification, engineering advice or a promise of compatibility, manufacturability, physical dimensions, closed paths, kerf behavior, tool paths, structural safety or a successful cut, engraving or print.
You must inspect the final SVG, paths, fills, strokes, units, dimensions, layers, overlaps and machine instructions in the software and hardware you will actually use. Test on safe material before production. You are responsible for machine settings, ventilation, fire safety, material suitability and all physical results. Do not rely on the service for safety-critical, medical, structural or industrial decisions.
6. Intellectual property
The VectorizeThis site, branding, interface and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as provided. They do not transfer ownership of VectorizeThis technology or branding. Open-source components remain governed by their respective licenses.
Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or payment to improve the service, provided we do not claim ownership of your underlying attached artwork.
7. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and output are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and compatibility. Vectorization is an approximation: output can omit colors, introduce or remove geometry, create islands, alter curves, increase file size, or differ visually from the source. You must review every result before use.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VectorizeThis and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost files, profits, revenue, business, opportunity or production materials arising from the service or output. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid VectorizeThis in the preceding 12 months or 100 CAD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent allowed.
You are responsible for backing up source files and verifying downloads. Where permitted by law, you agree to indemnify the operator against third-party claims caused by your unlawful files, infringement, misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
9. Third-party services
The service depends on providers such as Cloudflare and may interact with browser, download, email or fabrication software. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. VectorizeThis is not responsible for third-party products or changes in how they interpret SVG files.
10. Changes, severability and law
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Mandatory consumer law and rights in your place of residence remain applicable. Any dispute will be governed by the law applicable to the service operator, without overriding mandatory protections available to you.
These terms, together with the Privacy and Cookie Policies, form the agreement about the service. Questions can be sent to adminmax@gmail.com.
